Ms. Hoffer’s career in hospitality spans 28 years, she is a passionate hospitality executive and highly creative consultant as indicated by her success. At the early age of 21 she began training with Marriott hotels and resorts in Arlington, Texas and went on to achieve success in her career with titles including: Vice President and General Manager, Tourism Director, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Director of Convention Sales and Services, Food and Beverage Director, Sales and Catering Manager, Director of Catering and Special Events, and Director of Sales.   She was a lead trainer for Holiday Inn Worldwide and Marriott, teaching sales and marketing techniques as well as food and beverage training. She has opened 7 flagged brand properties (luxury, upscale, and upper upscale) Gaylord National Resort and Spa, Embassy Suites, Doubletree, Marriott and Holiday Inn.

 

In 2006 Ms. Hoffer was recruited to lead the marketing and public relations activities for a highly visible hotel construction project. At the time, the undertaking was touted the largest construction project on the Eastern seaboard and the Washington D.C. area. The pre-opening sales and marketing efforts of the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland broke industry records including booking more

than one million guest rooms prior to opening. Ms. Hoffer and her team were recognized in the industry for their performance. She led projects including the design and branding of all retail, restaurants, spa, catering, suites and sales along with serving as the public relations director.  During the project she became aware of the environmental impact the hotel industry was making. She successfully created partnerships within the industry to begin an environmental awareness not only with Gaylord Resorts and Hotels but created a global impact on the industry. 

 

In 2009, she joined her husband Joe in CynerGreen, a nationally recognized product development company that focused on creating products and systems for hotels and resorts that would reduce their carbon footprint. These programs included a highly impactful water bottle reduction program and water filtration systems that when put into place, would save millions of dollars over a period of just a few years for some properties. These programs were adopted by Aramark, Marriott, Hilton, Harrah’s Resort and Casino and more. The couples’ products have appeared on QVC and in retail stores including Toys R Us. She has spoken at numerous conferences and conventions on sustainable business including the California Board of Tourism conference on sustainable hotel practices.

Ms. Hoffer’s experience is vast in operations, sales, marketing and startups. In addition to her efforts in hospitality, she is an avid supporter of the arts and involved in pet charities.

 

She serves as CynerGreen’s CEO and Executive VP of Marketing and Public Relations.
